When it comes to each Facilities Master Plan, students are the inspiration. Guided by the vision of a school environment where teaching and learning happens everywhere, LPA develops an Educational Specification (also referred to as the Vision). This specification outlines the District’s philosophy, programs, goals and functional characteristics—then translates them into design guidelines for learner-centered spaces that will successfully support both today’s and tomorrow’s students.

This section of the Vision document includes background information such as what Educational Specifications are and how they are to be used. It also contains an explanation, or guide to the components of the space diagrams.
