Process Overview

A Facilities Master Plan is comprised of four main components: Mt. Diablo USD’s Educational Vision and Goals, the Facilities Condition Assessments, a Demographics Review, and a Financial Analysis. These components provide the data that begins to build the Master Plan Diagrams. Throughout the process collaboration with stakeholders, school site communities, and District leadership help to shape the vision that is unique and reflective of Mt. Diablo USD. Once consensus has been reached, the diagrams are finalized and cost for each site is established. From there, site-specific and District-wide priorities can be established, becoming data points for the Board of Education and District Leadership to use in determining the phasing for project implementation.
